Congressional Internships

The Office of Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard offers internships in both our Washington, DC and Hawaiʻi offices throughout the fall, spring and summer semesters. Interns have the opportunity gain invaluable work experience assisting the day-to-day operations of a Congressional office, including answering phones, researching legislation, responding to constituent letters and inquiries, and working on various other tasks and projects. Applicants should be well organized, have good oral and written communication skills and a positive attitude, and possess a strong interest in learning about the legislative process and congressional affairs. While all internships are unpaid, students may have the opportunity to gain course credit depending on the rules of their program.
