Rep. Tulsi Gabbard Telephone Town Hall to Discuss Shake Up at DOH, Need for Better Testing, Tracing, and Transparency

Honolulu, HI—Tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. HST, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) will be hosting her next telephone town hall meeting to update Hawai‘i residents about COVID-19. She will be joined by Dr. DeWolfe Miller, an expert infectious disease epidemiologist, and Dr. Scott Miscovich, a physician and the president and founder of Premier Medical Group Hawaiʻi, who is running COVID testing sites across the state.
Rep. Gabbard will provide an update on the latest developments in Congress to respond to the pandemic. Together, they will discuss the resurgence of COVID-19 cases in an Hawai‘i and how it is impacting hospitals, testing and tracing capacity. They will also answer questions from listeners about the ongoing public health crisis.
This will be the twenty-first coronavirus-related virtual town hall Rep. Gabbard has hosted since the first COVID-19 cases were recorded in Hawai‘i.
