Rep. Tulsi Gabbard Statement on Shooting at U.S. Capitol

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) released the following statement about the situation at the U.S. Capitol today:

“The U.S. Capitol Police and all law enforcement today acted quickly to ensure the safety of all visitors, staffers, and members of Congress. I was relieved and thankful that all of the staff and members in the Hawai‘i delegation were safe and accounted for within minutes of the Capitol being locked down. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected.”
