Federal Departments, Agencies, and Resources

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention — The CDC website has information on the latest recommended measures and actions taken to prevent the spread of the virus.

U.S. Small Business Administration — In response to the pressure this crisis has put on small businesses across the country, the U.S. Small Business Administration is offering disaster relief loans.

U.S. State Department — During the COVID-19 pandemic, travelers may face limited mobility — including quarantines and border restrictions. Even countries, jurisdictions, or areas where cases have not been reported may restrict travel without notice.

U.S. Department of Homeland Security — In addition to this webpage, which provides an overview of the its role in the fight against the COVID-19 coronavirus, the Department also issues regular press releases detailing its effort to help research the virus and protect our borders.

Hawai'i State and Local Departments, Agencies, and Resources

Hawai‘i Website on COVID-19The State of Hawai‘i has set up this website to provide regular updates on issues related to COVID-19 responses, from public health to economic issues as well as information about state resources available to residents.
Hawai‘i Department of Health — The HI DOH Disease Outbreak and Control division has information for public health officials, families, and businesses as well as responses to frequently asked questions.
Hawai‘i Department of Health’s / United Way Statewide HotlineLearn more about 211 which is organized in partnership with the United Way.
Hawai‘i Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism — The SBA approved a certification request submitted by Gov. David Ige, clearing the way for Hawai‘i small businesses to participate in the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan Assistance Program. The loans can be used to pay fixed debts, payroll and other bills that can’t be paid because of a disaster’s impact. You can visit their websites for more information about these and other programs for eligible businesses.
Hawai‘i Department of Labor and Industrial Relations — The DLIR provides workers and business owners with workplace updates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Department also hosts a webpage for filing unemployment claims online.
Hawai‘i Department of Transportation — The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation website includes information related to travel precautions, restrictions and efforts to contain the spread of the virus, including the latest on travel advisories issued by the Federal Government and the HI Governor’s office.
