"The healthcare open enrollment period for 2018 has begun. If you live in Hawai'i and do not have healthcare coverage through your employer, or you are self-employed or need to buy your own insurance, you can purchase health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace online at healthcare.gov. Open enrollment for 2018 health plans runs from November 1 to December 15.

Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) today spoke on the House floor urging her colleagues to reauthorize Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), which provides healthcare coverage to 8.9 million children whose family incomes are above Medicaid eligibility limits but lack access to affordable, private healthcare coverage. More than 25,000 keiki in Hawai‘i benefit from CHIP.
