Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard said:
"The healthcare open enrollment period for 2018 has begun. If you live in Hawai'i and do not have healthcare coverage through your employer, or you are self-employed or need to buy your own insurance, you can purchase health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace online at healthcare.gov. Open enrollment for 2018 health plans runs from November 1 to December 15.
"2017 marks the 75th anniversary of Executive Order 9066, which authorized the internment of 1000s of Japanese Americans on U.S. soil. As we look around our country & world today, we sadly see the same kind of divisiveness and prejudice that targeted Japanese Americans during WWII. We must stand up against this darkness, and inspired by the Aloha spirit, confront hatred and bigotry with courage, love, & respect rather than fueling divisions" - TG
