Honolulu, HI—This week, Reps. Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) and Ed Case (HI-01) jointly introduced in the U.S. House H.R.7045, a measure to pursue creation of Hawai‘i’s first-ever National Forest.
Washington, DC—This weekend, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) and Members of Congress from Hawai‘i and the U.S. Island Territories sent a letter to U.S. House leaders urging them to support local crop diversity and food security in upcoming emergency legislation responding to the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis.
Washington, DC—Today, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) voted for H.R.7010, the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act, which would provide additional flexibility for small businesses to use PPP loan funds to make qualifying expenditures for loan forgiveness. She is a cosponsor of the bill.

Hirono, called on the U.S. Department of Agriculture to expand its Coronavirus Food Assistance Program to include Hawai‘i’s unique specialty crops and help Hawai‘i farmers.
